View Full Version : Best Heading/Bearing Intrument Mod?

Hi all

I've downloaded Tonnage War and as part of it, I noticed the instruments for speed control, heading/bearing and depth have been replaced with better looking period style intruments.

I like the new style except that the heading indicator has now lost it's inner bearing indicator (it's replaced with single digit numbers representing x amount of degrees making it impossible to instantly select a bearing). The same instrument which when stock, used to give precise rudder control, has now morphed into a stop watch when the switch is pressed. Any recommendations for different instrument replacements would be gratefully received.

Cheers

There's an "alternate compass mod" available but don't remember where I got it as for the rudder control being replaced by a stop watch use this ===> http://files.filefront.com/Original_Rudder_Gaugezip/;4868173;;/fileinfo.html

to get the rudder control back.

Thanks Samwolf.

No Problem. I found the "alternate instrument mod" too. This replaces the single digit compass inner dial back to the 360 degree inner dial.

Alternate dial faces to address this issue are provided as one of the options in the Documentation folder of the NYGM Tonnage War download.

Thanks Observer. Time for me to break out those reading glasses I reckon!

No problem. I kind of hid it in the Documentation folder because I didn't want all of the options to get installed when using JSGME (the Documentation folder doesn't get installed with the latest versions of JSGME). Let me know if you can't find it or are still having problems.
