How can i turn down the range that my crew sees aircraft comming??

I mean, my crew can see aircraft from SOOO FAR AWAY it seems very unrealistic, its so far away half the time the aircraft doesnt even engage me, they pass becuase THEY cant even see me.

LOL.. ya.. Id like a nice position right in the middle. I wanna them to see aircraft only if i can see aircraft, maybe a lil more. not 20,000kms away when they are still sitting in their airfields.
