Well one way to find out is dive the subs to crush depth and see where they pop.
Im pretty sure RuB didnt mod the sub depths, i ended up manualy modding it for myself

Pretty much no. most variants had a different CD. Look for Timetravellers
crush depth randomizing tool and you'll be able to set your own based on historical figures.

Can you "test" your crush depth by going to the limit, start takin damge, and come back?
or is it a "point of no return" type of deal where once there, you're gone?
I'd hate to kill my crew on a simple test, even if they are virtual.

You can do the way that i did to chek the maximum diving depth of the Uboat. Do a crash dive - now when you in 70 meters depth - ahead slow dive deaper to 180 and so on until you start to sea that your uboat is starting to take damage - qucklee do a blow balast - and that it. That the way how i was cheked the depth with U-101 my hole crew is steel a live :rotfl: :rotfl:  arrrggg :arrgh!:

yer there all differant depthes, the following are the un-olterd CD's with the mods theat i mensiond at the top of this topic:
Type IIA = 152m
Type IID = 152m
Type VIIB = 225m
Type VIIC = 247m (c/41 ???m and c/42 ???m)
Type XIB = 216m
Type XIC = 232m (c/40 ???m)
Type XID2 = 235m
Type XXI = 290m
these arnt realistice but i think that thay'll do as the sim wont let you go deeper than 300m
