Problems downloading with rapidshare?

I had a premium account with rapidshare ( by mistake i thought it was the only way i could download from the site.) and now when i try to download i get the following message

This account is expired at Fri, 17. Feb 2006. Extend your account right now and continue using RapidShare PREMIUM!.

Well i want to use it free like everyone else. does anyone have any ideas how to overcome this.

Which mods were you after?

None in particular at the moment, but with all the NYGM mods coming out i want to be ready

I can;t d/load from rapidshare neather from both my pc's am after the weather mod

Rapid share only allows one download per hour on the free part per IP address ....... if you have 2 or more computers networked then they both have same IP address ( each computer has a different IP address but share a connection IP )

When I try I get the message 'invalid download' - I'm not using AOL, nor a proxy server and only have one PC. The help on rapidshare suggests this can be 'solved' by using the premium service. :hmm:

Tried deleting the cookies still no luck, thanks anyway. The closest i've got is the following message.

(xxxxxxxxx) standing for any file. i left the computer on for about 2.5 hours, and still the same message.

Why does it seem some people have a lot of problems downloading from rapidshare, whilst some have no worries at all ?

That is the problem, it says you have downloaded 97Mb...

An ISP issue maybe?

Doesn't it keep a track of total files you have downloaded ? Teddy what your saying is that

should read,


You have downloaded 0 KB.

is that right, i'm with NTL which is a pretty common isp, so i suppose it could be to do with the fact i had a premium account,
