View Full Version : How do you remove the tail lines from the Nav map contacts?

First let me say that I have just spent over an hour with the search function for this forum and have not been able to find the answer I am looking for (but I am sure it's posted here somewhere).

First what I am trying to do...

I have moved from IUB 1.02 to Rub 1.45 and am trying to impliment a few of the IUB features.

I have made a mod that replaces the way that RUB 1.45 displays the contacts on the Nav Map. So now I can see the contacts and when I zoom in I can see the ships. They are all grey so I need to make a visual ID to know if they are friend or foe.

What I want to do now is simply remove the little tails that indicate the direction the ship is moving in from the contacts when I am surfaced (when zoomed out) but still maintain the hydro contact lines as solid when submerged.

I have copied over a number of diffrent files from the Rub 1.45 instalation but I still get the tails.

Can someone that knows how please let me know, I would be most grateful.

umm think I have it figured out lol .... whish I could delete a thread ;P
