Must Have Mods?

I just ordered DW and I'm wondering if there are must have mods, or is the game pretty tight out of the box? Should I apply mods immediately or play stock at first?

I like keeping things as realistic as possible. Perhaps I should wait until the 1.03 patch is fully analyzed?

Yes, install 1.03 without doubt, it's veru good.

The "problems" we are talking in the forum are quite few and more a question of getting even better performance and perfectionism than real problems that affects negatively the gameplay.

Yep...1.03 is very good(exept few very minor things),later on maybe u will want to add LWAMI mod (check sticks for details) or u can search for other mods,like russian panels for their subs,Crazy Ivan sound mod...etc..

You don't really need mods if you are beginer and if you don't plan to play multiplayer. 1.03 gives more complex sound propagation model and fixes mainly some bugs which allowed some form of cheating in multiplayer.
