View Full Version : Loosing the TA

During a team dive with an Akula, I had to go to periscope depth to link with my partner. I start the dive at 276 m with a speed of 6 knots. I gave the PD depth order, and the sub begun its ascent in very unstable shape, going to 15 knots and then to 10, and did not stop at the PD depth but to the surface at 0 knot. I must insist that I did not touch any control during this maneuver. Unfortunately, I always stream the TA as the first thing to do when diving, but this ascent broke it. Is this a real life matter or is it a 103 patch related problem. I must said that the speed was always 15 knots or under, and I did not go backward. I just did nothing, except to order to go slowly to periscope depth. And this happened every time I went upward. One more thing, the ascent speed is fantastically fast.

I think that this is one of the bugs in 1.03. The rise of the stern when ascending can cut the TA. This has been reported in another thread.

I just hope they can work this out quickly as combined with the torpedo problem makes the game very tricky for sub drivers. :nope:

Roger. I was not sure if this had been discussed previously. But, lets hope that they will fix it soon.
