Issues with VIIB recharging with no engines on surface. Anyone know why this is? or have come across it? seems kinda strange. I'm basically sitting near scapa flow popping up and down to refresh air using the surface option with integrated orders mod....I dont have any engines running and my battery charged on the surface from 50%-100%

I'm patched to 1.4b
I'm using RUB 1.45
Harbor Traffic 1.47 for Rub 1.45
and integrated orders mod for major mods all the other stuff is mostly visuals and sounds...

Same thing happens in stock SH3.

None of your mods changed that.

You may not be moving but, the engines are idling waiting for orders and one of the engines is recharging the batteries. Now if you were out of fuel, that would be different.

ah ok makes sense now...i always assumed since I didn't hear engines they weren't on.....thanks for quick response. Now if I can just find that ignition switch to shut this thing down.

You can also atch the Tachometers (rev-counters) in the control room. Usually starboard eng runs at 800 rpm for battery recharging. (although at 800 there shoul be a sound dont you think?) :hmm:
