If I play around with the ALB_B4Liberator file: The one that looks like this:

[Unit]
ClassName=LBB24Liberator
UnitType=301
MaxSpeed=212.000000
MinSpeed=70.000000
MaxRadius=1400
Length=20.5
Width=33.5
RenownAwarded=100

[Loadout 1]
Name=16x250Kg Bombs
Type=2

[Loadout 2]
Name=8x500Kg Bombs
Type=3

Will it change the characteristics of the A/C in the game? Would I have to start with the highlighted parts first?

Basically I want to make it so the Lib get's only one maybe two go rounds before it drops all it bombs and goes home. I'd even give'em bigger bombs if new how. If I could make it fly level and drop like that to I would but I heard that causes some problems (and I wouldn't even begin to know how to change it anyway). I'm sure there is more too it that this but it's a start

These 5+ JABO attacks per Lib are killing me (literally and figuratively) :)

No, that's just a name - don't change it, BUT...

For that, my friend, check the .eqp file in the same folder. That's where the real bombs are! :know:

Okay, So I changed most of the lines in the .eqp file to NULL trying to give the Liberator a smaller amount of bombs (I'm gunning for 1 pass with bombs and one pass with DC's then they go home) but now they won't drop anything? I'm no modder by any means. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

DC's for airplanes are broken. They won't drop them unless you are submerged.

Bombs are the only ordinance that really work...

I kinda sorta figured it out. I also deleted the Loadout=8x500kg line after I made the other like NULL. The game didn't like that so I gave it back the Loadout=8x500kg (or whatever the bomb size was). They dropped their bombs.

I think it also depends on the crews skill level as to how many bombs they drop at once. I witnessed an air raid over Brest with the new settings and a lot of the libs made one pass and left. There were a few that made two passes and I might have seen one or two that made three. It was hard to keep track there were a lot of them.
