I started off being amused by this story from fark.com, then a feeling of incredulity took over: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2-2013173,00.html. It's like the briefing my guys have to listen to before going onboard a ship or sub to do any work, ie:
There may be potential lethal voltages (we look after computer systems)
There may be ladders you can fall off
There may be explosives (go figure)
etc
etc
It's all just the paranoia of employers that you'll sue their arses off if you get hurt in the course of your work, not helped by the idiots who sue at the drop of a hat - encouraged by the ambulance-chasing idiots of lawyers.
