Biscay large British airbase fix (http://rapidshare.de/files/11915264/STBAirBaseFix.zip.html)

Use ONLY with Stiebler-and-Teddy-Bear's 'STB Campaign Files' (also known as NYGM Campaign Files).

The purpose of this mod is to change the crew rating of the deadly new 'Biscay1' airbase, covering the Bay of Biscay, from Elite to Veteran. Apparently Elite airbases do not function properly after 1943 - their aircraft do not drop bombs. This is a bug in the original SH3 game.

Place this mod in the *same folder* as your campaign files (by default, this will be in folder 'C:\program files\ubisoft\silenthunteriii\data\campaigns\campa ign'), then double click on the STBAirBaseFix.exe program in Windows Explorer. The program will execute at once, giving a report of success or failure. It will generate a new file 'campaign_LND.mis'.

The original file has been saved as 'campaign_LNDold.mis'.

Biscay1 is a large British airbase designed to mimick the aerial onslaught by British Coastal Command on U-boats traversing the Bay of Biscay from August 1942 to August 1944. You will now often be attacked while crossing the Bay to get into the Atlantic, and standing orders after March 1943 were to cross the Bay surfaced for only the minimum time required to recharge batteries. The danger of these attacks is realistic, and you will soon learn to appreciate the option (when in base) of installing batteries that recharge faster. You will also learn to appreciate the value of the U-tankers (milk cows), which enable you to refuel without having to make another dangerous passage of the Bay of Biscay.
