I have compiled a list of the mods I want to use, the only thing is some are compatible with JSGME and some are not. Therefore I will be doing them ALL manually.

My question is, out of this list of mods, do you guys know if any of them will overwrite each other? That would not be good.

Ailskymod
BeeryWater
CameraMod
HarborTraffic
Homefleet Battleships,Carriers and Cruisers
HighResUniforms
HospitalShip
ImprovedConvoys
KMCapitalShips
SepiaMap
30newmerchantskins
Moonphases
NoFatigue
NoMines or Nets Friendly Harbors only
RealUboat1.45
Sh3commander
iamcom's Smoke mod
SonarDCfix
transparent console
ultimate gramaphone pack

I would also do the 16k fix if I could find it.

I just need to know if there are any major conflicts there, and if possible, can I edit one file or the other to blend the two?

it is very easy to convert any non-compatible mods so that they will work.

If a mod in not compatible, you need to create the file structure yourself

create a new folder and name it whatever the mod is

open the new folder and create a new folder and name that data

open data and create a new folder that corresponds to the next in game folder for the mod file.

Continue doing this until you reach the foleder that the new mod is supposed to be placed and put the new file in there. Done.

if you have any questions, look at the other mods in JSGME and see how they are set up. It is pretty easy and will make your game modding much simpler.

When you start adding the mods, make sure you add RUb first.

RUb 1.45 needs to be installed first. Then you should install Harbour Traffic. "NoMines or Nets Friendly Harbors only" cannot be installed as it would overwrite HT´s scripted layer. "Improved Convoys", "Hospital Ship" and "SonarDCfix" is part of RUb. You don´t need "NoFatigue", you can select it via SH3 Commander IIRC.

Great JSGME tutorial here... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/857101043/m/3031058373

About half way down is a link to another set of instructions which explain how to convert non-JSGME mods. A little bit of time saves a lot of pain.

(Although lafeeverted has summed it up nicely).

Note that SH3Cmdr is a third party add-on, not a mod which is installed into the game. Pls don't attempt to install it via JSGME.
