if i went to maximum range on the kilo using diesels will it eventualy run out of diesel fuel?
also same with the perry will it run out?
i dont plan to do this and it will take a long time if i did but any one answer me this questions?

I think when the demo was first released someone put the Kilo on autopilot and Timecompression and let it run for a couple of real time hours ... I think he traveled somewhere around 10000nm or so.
So ... the answer is no.
I think the idea is that DW is a tactical sub sim - before you'd enter a mission where the diesel amount would be a problem, whoever sent you on that mission would be... well, let's just say... in an uncomfortable position...

a related diesel question. why cant i run my diesels on the surface without raising the schnorkel.

have no idea normaly diesel submareines have another exhaust systerm in the sail or on deck

Yeah, pretty sure there's an exhaust right at the back of the sail. But having said that, it's not like it's a big deal as far as gameplay is concerned.

I'd guess some distance is needed between the air intake and the exhaust, so having to use the raised snorkel makes sense from that point of view.

Not, because the scenary is limited,
the campaign no is like Sh3 Dinamic campaign where you can travel 20.000 km and you can run out of fuel .
Here the action finish before the expended fuel could be noticeable :yep: .
