U-314159; A Modder's Tale
1200 - This is what we call the "Winter Break" period. Time to get up, and prepare for the duty shift (or lack thereof). There's no time to brush teeth, comb hair, or get dressed. The day is late, better get started.
1210 - Fire up the ol' processor and navigate to the SH3 shortcut... But wait, no time to mess around yet... Nothing has been modded for today. Oh, guess we better get started then.
1215 - Time to hit the photoshop compartment. So I knock out a few edited screenshots and textures, kill a few hours, and rip out another pile of hair... All in the same process! Hip hip, HORRAY!!
1400 - The Kaptain of the U-boat calls (And you thought I was the Kaptain... ;)). More modding he says. "CHOP CHOP!!" Well, there's no sense in disobeying orders, right? "AYE KAPTAIN!"
1439 - Haven't eaten yet. Stomach is growling... The Kaptain isn't looking, QUICK!! Make a quick dash into the galley and grab a bite to eat. Kaptain asks "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!" --- (answer with a mouth full of food) "NUFFHIN..." :roll:
1800 - Eyes getting weary, head is spinning, but TimeTraveller's tweeker is yelling at me. "MORE MOD! MORE MOD!!" Who am I to disobey a deranged little program? Load him up and let's get started. TWEEK! TWEEK! TWEEK! :doh:
1900 - Let's show the people what we've been working so hard on. They'll really like the stuff that we ar...... "NOOOOOOOO!!!" screams the Kaptain. (ranting manically) "We are on a secret mission! Speak NOTHING of your ideas!!! We will take them all by surprise!! (a diabolical laugh) Muwahahahahahaha!!!!" Shhh, don't tell the Kaptain... ;)
2100 - Kaptain finally goes to his bunk. My orders for the remainder of the night are "Slave on and give me the progress reports bright and early! NOW WORK DAMMIT!"
2300 - Working hard... Require break... So... Tired..... Must...... Play........ Game............ No, we must stay the course. MAKE MORE MODS!!!
0200 - DONE!! Finallly! Let's get in a few rounds of SH3 before retiring for the night.. Move mouse.. to shortcut icon... Double-click...... Stare blankly at......... Loadscreeeen............ S-H-3 at laaaaaassst.......
