RUB 1.45

I just installed the 1.45 version of RUB and now my game won't play I get an error messege right after the load up screen. I know I loaded all the folders right. first with mod enabler and then without, paying paticular close attention to how I was loading, to no avail. Has anyone else had this problem or know a fix, mabey a bug? or something
I have searched and havn't found anything on this game ran fine with a few stand alon mods and I do run Commander 3

Any Info would be appreciated

Using 1.45 without any problems. With mod enabler I got the files in disorder but it was easy to fix manually. I think you are not talking about that... :hmm:

What´s the error message? Have you installed patch 1.4b?

You should try a fresh installation, maybe RUb doesn´t like the mods that were already installed. Here are the instructions on how to reinstall SH3 correctly:

Ok Avon see if you can figure this one out.
here is what happens
first it gets to initializing....
then blank screen for about 3 min
then to error report with error signature

AppName: sh3.Exe AppVer: 1.4.0.1
ModNme: sh3.Exe
Offset: 000c5afa

I have no clue???

This is the sequence of events
first sh3 vanilla then patch 1.4 then RUB 1.45.then Commander 3
that is the order in which i installed them.

Ok Avon see if you can figure this one out.
here is what happens
Try this. rename files:

\SilentHunterIII\data\Movies\Intro\Intro.wmv
\SilentHunterIII\data\Movies\Intro\Logo.wmv

to any other names. This will bypass 2 dummy intro movies RUb installs to replace the game's original ones.

Avon I already checked into that and I deleted those two files

Maybe you downloaded corrupt files? If it comes to it, then just download and re-install everything all over again.

That's a big bummer, but whatcha going do, ya kno? You don't have much of a choice...
