Submarines in ww2 didn't go above around 20 kts...

You could try wolfie's tweak pack which I believe can raise time compression to 4096X.

Time Traveller has a program called SH3 Inspector. You can adjust a lot of things on all the subs it's quite simple to use as well.

I think it can be found here: http://u-boot.realsimulation.com/

I never tried it but I think you can make it so you Uboat can go 40kts or even faster or make it able to submerge to 900m. :)

The maximum REAL submarine speed in the game is about 20 knots

I reach 19-20 knots surfaced in calm waters in my new IX-B with a supercharger installed

Also be careful with the values, a very high speed you can drain your fuel very fast because the engine burns like hell at 20 knts

You can use the program I mentioned to change the range of the Sub as well. I've done this myself. RuB has a built-in Milk Cow in that it increases the range of the VIIC (as an example) to 12000 km @ 10 kts to simulate refueling at sea. The actual range of a VIIC I'm almost 100% certain was 8500 km @ 10 kts so I adjusted it down. Worked like a charm! Just increase the range to 48000km @ 10kts or something like that and presto!! A nuclear powered sub in '43!!! :)

Thanks again TT! Great program.

... Or you could just play using "unlimited fuel" in your realism settings.
