Did the Slow Cargo Ship Sink Time Mod ever make it?

I read about a mod that would make a long sink time for enemy shipping by adjusting the damage model. Plus it would not tell you if it sank or not immediately.

Anyone know what came of it?

:up: That will be nice. Good info. I always welcome more realistic sinking. The crew telling me it is sunk in one minute takes away the excitement.
