Beery and others....
Since SH3 Commander runs a batch prior to each patrol, copying files into the SHIII directories wouldn't it be possible to include running the batch for MVP as well including copying the .tga files in?
You could even have a buttom for the early war MVP and one for the mid-late war tga.
Just a suggestion if you haven't thought of it already.........

No need for that since SH3 Commander already deals with the MVP mod and has all the files and changing of the skins according to date already built into it.

What is the MVP mod?
Merchant Variety Pack. Multiple skins for each class of merchant ship.

Really? Does it randomize per patrol?
Yep. I think it's been that way since v2 - if it doesn't do it for you, simply get the latest Commander

Per SH3 startup via SH3 Commander.

I recommend you use SH3 commander for the MVP skins, since the MVP standalone versions have never been as reliable as I wanted them to be. Plus, I think Beery created a "transition period" circa 1940-41 where you'll see a mix of camo and regular skins.
BTW, the new version of the MVP is coming out with (or shortly after) the release our new merchant vessels. I'm going for more skins, neater details, and (possibly) nationality-specific skinning. In other words, British company skins will only be on British ships, etc. This last feature is by no means certain to be included, though, mainly b/c of filesize issues.
