SCS. Dangerous Waters World Cup. What Happened? we want it?

Since this summertime I was away from the computers doing forest firefighting I had not even the slighted idea this has already been proposed and moved.
I have just come into this information about SCS. Dangerous Waters World Cup (http://www.subsim.com/dw_contest/swc_roe.htm) and I am really interested in knowing about it.
Did this happened already? will it happen again?
I think it is a great idea and I would surely like to take part, with an FFG of course
I had took part on Subsim 2004 Winter Tournament with SHII and Destroyer Command and our team of 4 won the Kretschmer Cup to the despair of the U-Boat Kaleuns who saw the Tin Cans ruling the virtual Oceans
Of course SURFACE RULES!!!!!!!
I had a great time, excellent team cooperation and a really challenging objective to win. I have the trophy Neal sent us on my desk in fron to me and I am very proud of it so I would really love to try again but using the FFG.

I have not clue why this is not boosted but I am sure that if we do show some real interests, things could get into motion.
I believe this is the proper time to start planning something like this.
What do you think gents? Are you up to something like this?

I think Dangerous Waters needs virtual competitions, in terms of community involvement, nothing brings players together and into the fold like a tournament. :yep: :rock: :arrgh!:

Upon the release of DW 1.03 full, I hope to help organize a competition, I was planning on doing this weeks ago, but 1.03b has been taking up all my attention. :dead:

I have to agree with you on this. I also agree on what you said somewhere else on this forum when you said something like:"Less talks and more multiplayer matches". We have a very cool game that gives its best in multiplayer...let's use that to the fullest extent before saying that the game does not have enough platforms!!!... :x

Of course, my vote for the championship!
