I notice that when you approach an enemy coastal searchlight you have to be almost on top of it . The only way i can increase the detection range seems to be ajusting the sim cfg file . I changed the (Enemy surface factor=400) to
(Enemy surface factor=200) . The detection range of the searchlight is greater but what else does this effect .
Also is it possible to add a soundfile to the searchlight . Say a air raid siren .
