C3 with no wake???

Saw something strange, a C3 with no wake there was just the spray on bow and stern.
First I thought it will show up sooner or later but after running a long time with 1x there was still no wake.
Any idea what that could be?

Removed the C3 textur and still NO wake.
Also tried it in the museum, every ship has its wake but no wake for the C3.

The files are in data\Env.

I don't remember the file names. I'm not at home so I can't check for you, but that's where the wakes are located.

Also, if wakes show up for every ship other than the C3, then I have no clue what your problem could be... Maybe you should try a complete re-install?

I’ve had the same problem as well. :-?

Noticed it around the same time as I realized that some unknown mod I have changed the C3's draft from the default of nine meters to a more realistic twelve.

Did a couple tests with SH3Inspector and got the C3's wake to show at the default draft. I also tried lowering the draft of the C2 by one meter increments to see if it behaved similarly and sure enough, the wake disappeared at three meters below the default.

I think it may have something to do with the way the game handles the wake texture maybe. :hmm:

Do you think that once the keel depth goes below a certain level the C3 (like a submarine) no longer has a hull wake?

I'm guessing, though, that keel depth would have to go underneath the waves before the wake disappears.
