Well Gents, over the last week(s) features have been added and deleted from the Vault, and some content has been put in. Now which features are available at the Vault beside those allready integral part of vBulletin?

Read a more detailed explanation/description at the TnTVault Developers Corner (http://www.orionwarrior.com/forum/journal.php?do=showjournal&j=2)

- vBLeague
- vBJournal
- ArticleBot
- bbCode Modifications
- vBShout
- Threads downloadable as TXT and PDF File
- Event Forums
- First Post on all Pages
- Links and Downloads Manager
- vB Staff Titles
- TeamSpeak 2 Server Display
- Welcome Headers
- World Times
- Award System
- Advanced Editing Options for Admins and Moderators
- QuoteIt!
- Thank You Hack
- Thread Prefixes
- vBSupport Ticket System

As you can see this is quite a lot and to be honest, while some features are installed, not all are active. For starters the ShoutBox is installed and works quite good, but after some days of testing I have taken it offline as there seemed no apparent use of it.

Another thing which I have added today is the vBSupport System. I hope to bring that fully online when DW Retail is released and the IF definitly hangs on the cooperation of my Mods (and whoever steps up to the plate). Why? Well its a Ticket System like you find for example at ISPs or whatnot if you run into technical trouble. My thoughts about the system are that people can put in a ticket if they run into problems playing a campaign or having specific questions about a station or something like that. It would be more personalized. But then, on the other hand the TnTVault is a forum where you can post your questions quite freely and openly. So I'm not so sure if this feature is really needed.

I added a League system, which again is installed and working but currently disabled till I find a good use for it. The Articlebot who posts RSS feeds is currently disabled after a long testing period. I hope to get answers from Neal to my proposal to add RSS feeds to Subsim/Subsim RadioRoom, which could be displayed at the Vault then. And I have to make the same proposal to SCS to add a RSS feed to the SCS Forums.

Most of the other features are nice to have things, like the Thank You hack - where people can easily (without cluttering up threads) express their Thanks to a particular author for making a certain thread/post. World Times display if you wanna see how early/late it is in another Timezone, and some more things.

Another notable feature is the Calendar/Forum integration. Create an event on the calendar and a matching dorum thread is automatically created. That should help facilitate Online play / Training.

Anyway, I've only listed maybe half of the available stuff. Again not all of that is currently visible, but if you have ideas on how to put some of them to good use, let me know. Either here or as a comment on the Developers Corner posts.

Lastly I want to point out that despite the features, the heart and soul of the Vault is the content - the Tips & Tricks, Tactics and similar things. So please, check it out and if you know things not on there, share them by posting them on the Vault.

Cheers
OS

UPDATE : TnT Vault shall from now on be known as Commanders Academy & Dive Center (CADC). TnT Vault lives on as part of the CADC, but since so many things got added it was time for a name change.

Ok guys, we now have the best possible tool for finding games.

Use the CADC Availabilities and Scheduled Events Calender (http://www.orionwarrior.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=38) to find games and let other know when you are interested in playing.

Also, virtual fleets are encouraged to use the calender as a resource for them to keep track of their events and manage their dive schedule and training sessions.
