I'm about to install the full version of SH3 Commander 2.3 over my current 2.1 version (I never installed 2.2). In the setup instructions, it says to delete the 'Date, Flotilla and Random' subfolders under the SH3 Folder to avoid file conficts, wrong dates in game, etc. However, unlike the last time I did this, those three sub-folders do not appear to be present anyway. This seems odd. Am I looking for them in the right place? Is it safe to go forward with the install? (I've just finished my 5th patrol under Commander 2.1, am now in base, have rolled back Commander and installed RuB 1.45).

From the installation readme...
...2. delete the 'Date', 'Flotilla' and 'Random' sub-folders located under the SH3 Commander folder. This is critical...

Navigate to where you have installed SH3Cmdr 2.1 and delete the three sub-folders. If they're not present, it means that at some point you must have deleted them. Which means that you have not been receiving the full benefits of SH3Cmdr.

I recall that I did indeed delete them as per similar instructions when I installed either 2.0 or 2.1. I assumed that those versions would reinstall those subfolders I guess. Everything seems to have been working fine though. In any case, where should I go from here? The subfolders are not in the SH3 folder.

Doh.... just realised I was looking in the SH3 folder, not the SH3 Commander folder. Apologies for wasting your time. Problem sorted.
