Hello. I am a noob to the SH series, but was an expert in the old days of MicroProse's Silent Service on the old Atari ST. I recently saw and bought the game SH3 and I love it. I have started many careers so far, but find running out of torpedoes half way through a patrol a major headache. I like the strategy of the game and am not so fussed about the historical elements being correct.
To get to the point, I have downloaded and am using TWEEKSUB by wolfie to increase the numbers of external and internal reloads. I can't seem to get a loadout for all the subs that works and it causes the game to crash when starting a patrol if you get them too high or just wrong.
In the docs included it says to use 8/8/6 for forward and 2/6 for aft. I found this excessive for the smaller boats so I tried 7/7/6 and 2/5. Can anyone else share settings that they have found that work ok.

Hmm not sure as i don't use that tweak but if you use the 2/5 for a IIA sub you have a problem as it didn't have 2 tubes at the rear. And if you need more fishes just take a IX there you should have enough fishes

Sorry to be green, but I am starting a new career in 1st flotilla in 1939 and there is only a type IIa boat available. Is there someway I could have a different one then?
