View Full Version : VIIB CON DECK PROBLEM

Have you noticed the type VIIB uses the main deck texture for the
conning tower heres a pic

is it possible to fix this problem the VIIB uses two Turm data files in
the Data/Objects folder but it doesn't use the deck textures inside
these data files where as the type VIIC does. Also the type II boats
have the same problem, If we could fix this I could make some
con decks for these boats but maybe this problem is in the hard code which means it can't be fixed.

Have you tried to chnage names of textures/TGA plates inside the corresponding Turm files, such as Turm7b_1_hd.dat and Turm7b_2_hd.dat, using hex-editor? As I can see, these names refere to VIIC textures.

Example:

inside Turm7b_1_hd.dat change NSS_Uboat7c_deck.tga to f.e. NSSUboatVIIbdeck.tga

Why not just change it to "NSS_Uboat7b_deck.tga". Its what I have done. Makes more sence to use the same naming convention to me.
