Hi all :)

I'm reading a book, The admiral wolves, the story of a Uboat during the WWII. In this book, the author say about night binoculars
What this ?

Is there a mod allow a better night vision with binoculars for SH3 ?

The meaning of "night binoculars" in WWII is just a ordinary binocular with a large lins for incoming light. (sorry now for my english, cos it's not my native language). It just works so that a i.e. 7x50 binocular can in bad lightning make it look brighter in the binoculars. So in some cases this kind of binoculars could make the night look brighter. It will noit work with a 6x35 binoculars. This will just make it even worse.
This is not to compare with later developed night vision devices as goggles or so. Thats another technique.

There is a mod to make something similar in SH3 ? at least, a mod who allow to take a better vision on night ?

Yes, you have the visbility mod.
Spottings are increased to 16000m daytime, and nightime is still under development. Now nightspottings are between 4000-14000m. Im not sure we'll manage to get it better but to my opinion is much better than stock game

Yes it is. According to others its possible to see even further away a clear day. What you see is the smoke pillar, then when you get closer you can start to see the ship.

When Bismarck sank Hood fire was opened at 21,000 yards, and that was an overcast, blustery day. Nelson's gunnery log shows that they opened fire at 23,000 yards against Bismarck. The longest range shot known to have hit was Scharnhorst against the carrier Furious (I hope I'm remembering the right one) at just over 26,000 yards, and that was the range they HIT at (firing had started sometime earlier). U.S. battleships fired at a Japanese destroyer at ranges exceeding 35,000 yards.

U-boats are closer to the water and thus will have a shorter sighting range, but 16,000m is not far at all.

Yes it is. :yep:
The link I gave to you have Beery's latest sky/sea colours already built in.
But you must install it on top of Rub. If you use JSGME modenabler (as I strongly recommend) just enable it after you have enabled Rub

It was the Carrier HMS Glorious not Furious.
