problem with starting Real U-boat mod

[O-shet]

I installed the mod using the mod manager program and the game loads with a black screen and stays that way. I alt tab and task manger says its not responding. what do i do?

Dunno if this will solve your problem o-shet, but I also was having problems getting SHIII to load with RUB. I kept getting CTDS. What I had to do to fix was replace the RUB intro and logo movie files (I'm trying to remember their names from memory, so apologies if I'm remembering the names wrong) with the original SHIII movie files. Hope that helps!

He indeed resolved the problem by deleting the null video files inserted by RUb.
