New To SHIII, which mods?

Hiyas. I'm new to SHIII and see there are a ton of mods out there for it. I'm just wondering if there are any "must have" mods to make the game more realistic? Not that I'm not enjoying the game as it is now, heck I'm only on my 4th career patrol and far far far from figuring alot of things out. Just wondering if there are mods out there that are truely must have to make the original game more enjoyable. Thanks!

For serious gameplay configuration changes:

1. Real Uboat Mod (RUb)

2. The latest Improved Convoys Mod version

3. Rubini's Harbour Traffic Mod

No. An updated IC mod was released on Oct. 8. Read here (http://www.subsim.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=39445) carefully.
