This mod is in JGSME format. Just copy it to the JGSME "MODS" folder. If you do not use JGSME simply right-click the "data" folder and copy it over the data folder in the SilentHunterIII directory and allow it to overwrite. ALWAYS back up your original files!

This mod is compatible with RUb, IUb, Sergbuto's AI-Uboats, floatplanes, and stock SH3. If you are a player of stock SH3 you may notice that this mod puts additional files in your Air, Submarine, and Sea folder that are not available units in your game. Do not worry. The game engine will not call on these files and cause CTD's.

If used with RUb or IUb, install this mod AFTER installation of RUb or IUb and allow it to overwrite.

This mod goes much further than the "Myros No-Color Contacts." It shows map contacts in ALL zoom levels of the F5 map.

Also, hydrophone and radar contact lines are grey.

This mod is something I've wanted since I started playing and modding SH3.

Thanks oRGY for pointing me in the right direction.

Mr. Remilton and Marhkimov... for all the proceedural Photoshop help THANK YOU!
Also thanks to Soviet for some good ideas.
Credit also goes to Marhkimov for the outer zoom level cons and saving me a bit of work.

Cheers fellow Kaleuns! :know:

Kpt. Lehmann,

You include CargoDef.cfg, Englishnames.cfg and Germannames.cfg files. They are part of the mod?

Hello Kpt.Lehmann :D
Can I enable this mod in campaign or do I have to be in port?

I'm sorry, those extra files shouldn't be there. I will upload corrected version today.

Salute! Rulle34. :sunny:

I would first download the updated version. Second, just to be safe I would add it between patrols in base.

The updated version will be graphic files only.

Kpt,
After a few patrols a single word: great!
My game is now much more challenging!

I was thought however if the blue color for friendly units could be hold on. Perhaps simulating some type of encrypted radio contact between friendly units, what probably should happen in real life. But it's just a perfectionist thought...

That is actually no problem to do for friendly warships and planes... you just delete the folders for those units in the mod BEFORE you apply it. ;)

Now for merchants... it isn't so simple since the same merchant ships are used for all nationalities. I don't have any easy answers for that question.

Martes, do you want this for the mod list? :ping:
