Dive time?

Could someone tell me how to change the default dive time for the U-boats? The Type VIIB is just too slow for my liking, I'd like to tweak it a bit. I would appreciate any help in advance, thank you. :)

Looking at the sound (speech) files, there are three different voicecommands for diving; diveplanes set for shallow dive, normal dive, and fast dive (or something like that)
That must mean that game originally should have the feature of set the dive angle in three different angles. This will probably not affect the divetime from surface, beause "crash dive" is the fastest way to get submerged. Game uses "normal dive" for pressing "D".
But when trying to get as deep as possible evading deepthcharges, I miss a feature for a steep diveangle.

Is this possible to mod? :hmm:

I remeber there was a mod for silent huter II that let you manouver the diveplanes yourself, but that was a very tricky manouver (as in reality) :roll:
