Curious about weather changes.

I was wondering if anyone has attempted to make the weather more balanced? I haven't actually looked myself to see if there is anything that can be changed manually in the cfg but I would definately like to see a better weather mod, if one isn't already being worked on.

It may not be terribly realistic, but a weather change every 24 hours would be very welcome. I'm not talking middle of a storm to a dead calm, but you know, maybe to a mild swell from a storm. That sort of thing.

Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone has tried/is making progress on weather. :)

From what I saw in that thread there is no real way to mod the weather and have it have a real effect in game.

I have been reading quotes like this back from the days of SH2 & DC. They say it can't be done !!! Well, guess what ! In most cases, it WAS done. Given enough time, our expert Subsim
community people will figure it out....

Absolutely!
With the people in this community "It cannot be done" just means it might take a little while so be patient.

SHII was practically rebuilt.The modders turned it into one helluva sim, considering the way it was when it was delivered. just think what has been accomplished in SHIII since day one.
