I am getting severe rendering problems with this mod. Is there any way to ommit their installation via JSGME? I tried ommiting ENV and some other files in CFG but still I can't get to the root of the problem...

Any ideas ?

(The problems have to do with shjimmering, shading, reflections, colours etc.)

Guys, any way to separate the part of the mod that deals with visibility range? I think that's the main cause of the problem...

Hi;

Sorry I didn't notice this thread before.

I'm not sure what to say about severe rendering problems - its a very vague description. Would be best if you gave your system specs, mods installed, and a screenshot.

I am releasing a patch that fixes a good few issues, probably tomorrow, but I'm not aware of any major rendering glitches with the vis mod, unless you use the external camera to go really high or something?

In any case mixing and matching envcolors files will definately cause problems unless you know exactly what you're doing.

Ciao

Well the rendering problems appear to be fixed after a re-install. What I can't seem to fix now (after 3 complete reinstalls) is the fact that the attack periscope view is not there (can't access it with F2, and the periscope icon is missing in the slide-in menu at the left).

Also, the "O" view is missing too, and the screen freezes when I press the key...If I move the mouse, it leaves behind a trail-you know like a constant exposure photograph. The screen again unfreezes when I switch to a different view.

The other reason I was wondering about how to diasble the visibility mod and all that is that the sea now looks very repetitive after a certain distance and viewing height...

Thanks for your help!

Yep, the missing keys are an unintentional feature and are fixed in next patch. If you switch to the "German" keyboard settings in the options though, you can get them back now.

As for the sea looking repetitive after a certain height... my fix is to: disable the external camera!
