I recently started using mods that hid my hull integrity indicator. That seemed fine... it always seemed a little bit too gamey to me.
Fast forward to my most recent patrol. I've been heavily depth-charged twice, both times sustaining damage in multiple compartments. One of those attacks involved minor to moderate flooding that I brought under control.
I've also been hit once by aircraft. Two compartments received damage that was quickly fixed.
So now I'm about to attack again ... and don't really have much of an idea as to the state of my boat. I don't find this particularly realistic either since I can't do in SH3 what a real captain could do ... walk around and inspect the hull, see where things are bent, rivets are popped out, or find signs of tiny leaks, etc.
So I think we should get SOME SORT of indicator as to the shape of our boat.
Is hull integrity moddable so that you can see it, but only a vague range? e.g. it says either 'critical', 'fair', or 'good'.
