There are changes I've made to my Basic.cfg file but when I start the game it's all been changed back!!!

I'm running the following Mods

SH3 Commander

JSGME to handle the following mods:

World Expansion v2.0

Transparent Dials

Merchant ID Mod (the expanded version)

Hi-res Flag Textures

Merchant Mod 01, 02, and 03

Swastica Mod

Bad_weather_guns Mod

Flotilla Mod

I did have RUb v1.43 running but didn't like it and removed it with JSGME. But it sure looks like the Basic.cfg file that RUB uses but it's not enabled. Here is a couple of things that look like RUb that I noticed.

IIA Nbday 7

XXI Nbday 259

I change the Ammo loadout on the 10.5 cm to 150 rounds HE with no AP or Star Shells and the 8.8 cm to 220 rounds HE and no AP or Star shells. I changed the 10.5 cm boxes to hold 75 rounds each and the 8.8 cm boxes to 110 rounds each. But when the game starts everything is back to the old stats in the Basic.cfg file.

What file is changing them back ???????????

hi! Thats because you're launching the game via sh3 commander, every time your run it, it changes your basic.cfg from the basics directory. If that's it, all your have to do is apply your changes in all the basic's in sh3 commander sub-directory, dont remember names now...

The only Basic.cfg file I can find in SH3 Commander is in the
"!BACKUP" folder. I've modded that file so we'll see what happens.

I have a complete backup of my orginal SH3 v1.4b "Data" folder so that's safe.

Backup dir has the basic.cfg that you had before you run for the 1st time sh3 commander. I checked the dir's for you... you have to change basic.cfg in these three dir's:
- SH3 Commander\Flotilla\902\data\Cfg
- SH3 Commander\Flotilla\903\data\Cfg
- SH3 Commander\Flotilla\904\data\Cfg
