Heavier Seas?

I've got TT's big waves mod running 2X. Just curious if going bigger than this would run okay. If it could, I think it may be cool to have larger waves than 2x. Like maybe 4X.

It just seems in reality the swells get bigger than the max in the game.

I want to sail over a 50 or 60ft swell.

Is there a way to adjust the merchants to make them not sink or is this too dificult?
