Make a clean mission just with two subs, each one in a different side and with that "human control" checked in their respective properties window.
The question is... does it work?

Gibs wrote that it´s a private mod for his pals and that he won´t release it to the public. He later deleted that reply.

As you could read in Gibs´ thread the biggest problem is the 25m torpedo depth limit. If that can´t be solved you are basically restricted to play Sub vs. Sub in shallow water.

But u can have "Set Depth Torps" that will (for a while) stay at the depth u launch them at. All the way down to 300m.

How long is "for a while"?

found that torps run perfectly at what ever depth you are at...say your at 85m fire a torp it will run at 85m for about 1000m before it slowly starts to climb, just want to figure out how to dial in the depth on the manual torp setting

its all still frustrating, the devs should have incorporated these things into the game. any way now that i'm trying to test my sub vs sub missions every time i try to launch a mission it crashes to desktop .. neone know why???

I just played in a multiplayer game where 5 of us went after the convoy, and the 6th started sinking our own subs. It wasn't too hard to hit eachother since whoever hosted the game had auto targeting on. I would've been ok but I pulled a crash dive before I had some flooding under control and wound up losing her to the bottom of the ocean.

Well if the devs were making a modern era sub sim i'd agree with you, but since this is a WW2 sub sim, it didn't make any more sense to model this than giving subs the ability to fly.

Ehhh... The problem is, how am I going to test the missions without a multiplayer partner? :hmm: I should have thought about this before offering help... :) We can try a multiplayer game tomorrow if you like. I´ve opened the 1 vs 1 mission with the ME and found nothing that should lead to a CTD.
