Hey i had a problem with some mods and had to re-install my copy of SH3, though this time it isnt registering changes in realism. No matter how many effects i check it stays at 0%. The only two mods im using at the moment are the SH3 flag mod and the flotilla mod, niether of which i believe should have any effect on this. Anyone ever hear of it doing this before? If you could help me out i would really appriciate it.

Check if data\cfg\gameplaysettings.cfg is gone or corrupt, it contains the percentages.

hmmm alright. Would someone mind pasting the text that should be in the cfg. I figure that is the problem. Mine only has a true/false put next to each setting i have marked, figure there is something missing. Also while im asking i was also wondering where you set emblems at. I have seen mods for them but havent seen where you can select one. I imagine its somewhere obvious and for some reason i havent noticed it.

Or, when you have earned one, in the submarine equipment screen.

thanks alot. Everythings working great now. Had two other small questions though. What is the cfg that controls weather, and i also would like to use some mods for the game since there appears to be alot of good ones out. What would you guys recommend to be used. Last time i installed i just put everything that sounded good on though had a glitch were it was stuck on saying i was in a storm (weather was perfect and the sea was calm) yet if i ever tired to use the deck gun or flak gun it would say i couldnt use it in a storm. So i was just wondering what are some good mods to use or the forward to a thread already talking about this.

errrm... slightly delayed response... make sure you copy/burn the corrected/uncorrupted files to CD or DVD so that you have them if you ever need to re-install the game...

Sorry... just thought I'd toss that in.... I've learned the hard way.
