The Royal Coastal Artillery is on vacation during the war - or so it seems in SH III....
Is there any Mod out there that makes a change ?
You know, for example the twin gun turret batteries at Dover ?

I have been attacked by coastal batteries on a few occasions, so I'm not sure why they don't fire at you..?

I've also seen a battle where I was not involved at all. I was hugging the French coastline when France was 'friendly'. Suddenly a squadron of British aircraft came from North and started bombing the batteries. The batteries fired back. One casualty on each side... :ping:

yea i've been fired at by the batteries in scapa, i think they have un-characteristically short-range, which is annoying.

Mind you they don't get much of a view. :)

Maybe this is only a Dover problem ? Can anyone confirm this ?

I wasn't surfaced at Scapa Flow...so I didn't witness the coastal guns in action there (didn't even notice them...it was dark and I was too frustrated to take a closer look), hours and hours of diving, "sneaking" through the rows of destroyers, only to find an empty harbour...yea...
