Hi all!
I have now tried the new HT Mod!
In the 7zip when extracting i have 2 Folders. One is the Ht Mod and one the Standalone HT Mod!
But the Standalone HT Mod folder is empty after extracting!
Installed the normal HT mod with airpower and Milk, but every time i try to start a new patrol, i get CTD! no chance to start the game, CTD cames before Initalisieren... Screen.
Have no idea what is wrong, can`t get it to work!
Has anybody the complete New HT Version for STANDALONE, included the newest airpowermod and Milkmod?
Can`t run the newest HT Mod, every time CTD!!! Going crazy.... :(
Please could anybody post the Package with HT1.45c+Airpower for HT1.45c and Milkcows for HT1.45c???
Maybe i did something wrong in overcopyng the files over HT1.45c

It's possible that you are installing the mods in a wrong order or mix other mods that overwriting some files...
Please, post your folders/mod "installations" here or just PM me. I will help you.

I noticed the other day, that all the subs in the "Museum" now display with crewmen "On Deck", under the water?
I'm running the lastest HT standalone Mod plus Serbugto's A.I. Uboats.
Is this a normal anomily now, that I'll have to live with, in order to have A.I. Subs in the game with crewmen "on deck" (I can deal with this). Or is something FUBAR'ed in my installs.
Also, will Serbugto's A.I. Wolfpack mod display crewmen on the conning tower "On Deck", even with the sub submerged, at periscope depth. Anotherwords, can A.I. subs on the surface display crewmen "on deck" and have the crewmen removed when at periscope depth. Or is this just an anomily in the Museum?

Sergei have made several versions of AiUboats. That what I used in HT mod have crew even when submerged (so, it's not your installation). The Aiuboats for wolfpack, obviously don't have crew on deck.
But this annoying 'submerged crew on deck' was already fix. They will come with the next release of the HT mod. We do the crew as a loadout, so now is possible to choice when the crew will appears...

To make the crews as a loadout is my idea, and I do the necessaries changes in the eqp file. But this don't matter, because the AIuboats crewmen is a Sergei awesome creation. :up:

I really enjoy this mod. I have a couple of questions:
1. Is it possible to have a version that was less German air traffic or none as these spawning aircraft really slow me down when trying to leave port?
2. I have created several missions of the 30th Flotilla in the Black Sea out of Constanza (Romania) and have created the ports of Odessa, Sevastopol, Novorossiysk, Feodosiya (the last 30th U-boot port), Rostov-On-Don, and Batum, Are any of these ports in the new Harbour Traffic 145c?

Well, this is exactly what is happening to me, as i wrote a few pages before.
Could it be possible, that there is some conflict between HT 1.45c and the German SH3 Version ??
As of yet I've only seen 3 People getting CTDs with HT 1.45c and all three seem to have the German version.
Question could be, is there any German version player who gets NO CTD here?

Nope. In the HT 1.45c only Constantza have a naval base. If you want, just contact me to see if it's possible to add your ports to the HT mod, ok?

Didn`t get it run on my installation.
Running with 1.44b and old Airpower and old Milccows....
No other chance for me.
Could anybody post a link where the whole thing is packed in Zip or RAR?
I am not sure, but did hear a lot of failing compressing with the 7z things......
Running also, Improved convoy Mod, Leightlightsmod, flakupgrade, sonarfix2.0, snorkelfix2.0 etc.
But can`t belive that one of them is causing my CTD Problem with the great HT Mod from Rubini!
Don`t know what to do anymore, will play the old version. It runs perfectly.......
Another question:
Someone in a German forum asked me because he has a problem.
He always get Sonar destroyed and Radar destroyed, when starting patrol. He is using now the newest HT mod.
He also uses: Improved convoymod, HollywoodMod.
Any ideas?
I love HT Mod, but damn myself that i can`t get the newest to run....

Thanks for keeping us up to date Runini.
One thing I found out yesterday. It was my first attempt to enter NYC Harbor (Feb 1942) and I must say I was quite successful. So I surface next to Lady Liberty and what do I see? Nothing. The whole damn harbor is empty. Not even a fishing boat is around. :-)
However I encountered two DDs on my way in and an Elco on the way out.
Did you plan to include US Harbors in the HT Mod or whether something's planned for the Ops Mod? Or was I just unlucky to come at a bad time?

It´s the first time i use the Rub1.43 Mod. I want run this Mod with your new version of your HT Version 1.45c but this mix crashes like i post befor. So i want to go back to HT1.44. But there are alot of diverernd versions of HT-Mod. So im not sure which version i have to
use for best Gameplay in combination with Rub1.43 :doh:

IF YOU ARE RUNNING THE GERMAN VERSION OF SHIII THEN THE FOLLOWING POST DOES NOT APPLY TO YOU AS PEOPLE HAVE REPORTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE 1.45c VERSION OF THE HT MOD WHEN USING THE GERMAN VERSION OF SHIII. ACCORDING TO RUBINI ABOVE YOU SHOULD THEN TRY USING THE 1.45b VERSION OF HT.

I don't know why some people would have any problems running this mod. I have the following mods(and more as you can see in the screenshot below) installed in my SHIII(patched to 1.4b) and I have no problem with the 'HT 1.45c for RuB 1.43' mod:

For those of you using Real U Boat(RuB) I circled the two required mods in red in my screenshot.
I do not believe a recent version of the 'ImprovedConvoys' mod is required(the .RND layer is supposed to work seperately from the .LND and .SCR layers) but I do have the 09-15-2005 version of ImprovedConvoys installed and I circled it in blue in my screenshot, just in case. The exact version of it does not show in the screenshot but I listed the exact version of it up above.
If 'HT 1.45c for Rub 1.43' is not working for you, then I think... you have installed another mod that is not compatible, you somehow installed mods in the wrong order, or... you installed the HT 1.45c for RuB 1.43 mod incorrectly. Also make sure you have your SHIII patched to v1.4b.
The most likely problem is that you did not install HT 1.45c for RuB 1.43 correctly. It comes with more than just the 'Campaign_LND.mis' and 'Campaign_SCR.mis' files. It also has several sub-folders that contain files and you must install all of them correctly. If you are using JSGME to install your mods, and you unpacked the HT mod correctly into JSGME then this should not be a problem... normally.
One last possibility, but I'm not sure if it's required, is... after installing HT 1.45c you may need to be starting your game from an in-port save, and not from a save that is in the middle of a patrol. Just to be sure I used a save where I was in port, not one where I was in the middle of a patrol, and I have no problem with the mod.
I have a good PC and I'm using the 'Heavy Traffic' version of the mod and it's really incredible! The friendly aircraft, docked and patrolling AI DD's, docked merchants and subs , escort AI DD, and patrolling AI subs really adds to the immersion of being around a harbor!

I had playing the new version and I have some ideas:
1) You can add a T2 tanker to Italy aswell, along with the Small Tanker you already add.
2) Since you add options with heavy traffic and with and without mines and subnets I wonder if you can add a version somewhat called "base set" or something.
Let me explain: I like mods wich keep the game as original as posible, so the version 1.45b was on that way. However on 1.45c new stuff was added like new bases so I wonder if we can have some 1.45c improvements (like traffic) but keeping the same bases of 1.45b.
3) I know you indicated before that the dev team could be working on, but I wonder if on next version allied traffic is included on the unmodificied ingame allied bases. I will preffer this than the addition of more traffic on new axis bases.

- I'm not sure yet if I will include the wolfpack mod. I'm not convinced if it is easy to the player to locate where they are, SH3 radio messages don't work very well, etc. I guess that they are more fitted for single missions...

- The news are about the milk cow which will be fully integrate with HT mod ( but use it or not is a optional feature) and the dolphins are an eye candy stuff only. The others news are some tweaks in the whole HT mod.

- I also don't like to modified the stock game a lot. But some changes are simply necessary because the stock game have a lot of flaws (as all we know). The new bases in HT 1.45c already are in the stock game. I only put a naval base for them. It's not the dev team but the Ops team who are working on allied ports and I will do some work there too if I have time.

I guess that the old 'HT 1.45c for RUB 1.43' will work with RUB 1.44. I already put the last Ops SCR (which is now on RUB 1.44) in the HT 1.45c. Try it if you can and post here a feedback.

Rubini, I downloaded RUB 1.44 last night. Using the mod installer(I love this tool)I disabled all my mods down to a clean, patched game then re-installed with RUB 1.44 followed by your most recent HT mod. Then re-enabled the rest of my mods. So far everything runs smooth.
Question: in a past post I think I recall something from you about the nets & minefields being visible when you zoom in the harbor area. I was not able to get this to work (RUB 1.43 and now with 1.44) Am I mistaken about this or is something gone sideways on me.(it wouldn't be the first time). Tried to locate the post but with all the traffic revolving around your harbor mod it was like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Regarding the wolfpack mod, why don't you just make it as an optional add-on?

@Rubini... any way to get the Welder, Carpenter, Painter, etc workmen figures to show up in ALL the Harbors where the Type VIIC is being repaired next to the drydock?
The Welder looks pretty cool... but, right now it's hit or miss if they make an appearance or not...

-That "maps in the nav map" feature was never finished. Use the maps in the HT mod documentation's folder. I like them and they are very nice!

-The upcoming new HT mod don't have wolfpack with him. I make some (two) convoys with wolfpack but the player probably never will see them. The radio calls in SH3 are not well implemented. I will study a bit more how to implement them in a good way, so perhaps for the next version, ok?
