I've been playing with TweekSUB and get strange problem. If I have 4 external torps only the top 2 will be loaded into the internal stores. The bottom 2 external torps WILL NOT load. If I only have 1 or 2 external torps they WILL NOT load into internal stores.

I've even got to the point of firing ALL my torps so all internal is empty and the 2 bottom externals still won't load. And it happens on three different subs, the VIIC, IXB and IXC. :damn:

Yup, I was on the surface, not on Silent Running and my crew was 100% as was the torps rooms.

Yeh, happen to me. The problem is you must start a new patrol, or carreer it seems to me, If I recall.

All it is changes the text file for the subs configuration. You can easliy do it yourself without the tweak tool.

Usualy when you play with the configuration files (.cfg) you
better do it when you have your patrol in harbour.

For the torpedoes, you should perhaps look in your
basic.cfg file and seek for the
[SUBMARINE_AMMOXX]

with the XX defining your submarine
(like [SUBMARINE_AMMO9] for ixd2).

There looks if you have the correct numbers in place
for the torpedoes.

You have a general settings at the start of the
[SUBMARINE_AMMOXX] informations.

Then under this part you have multiple "blocks" that
start every time with YearN=YYYY
(in exemple Year0=1942).

Those blocks give you all the detail for the default equipement
of your sub depending of the year of the war.
It's also those values who set your default torpedoes loading
when you are in harbour and get a look at your sub
in the u-boat equipement management interface.

Should get a look in those blocks and see if they are
all corrects (keep a good look on the numbering )

For exemple in the IXD2:

Year0=1942
ForeTube00=1
ForeTube01=1
ForeTube02=1
ForeTube03=1
...

Year1=1943
ForeTube10=1
ForeTube11=1
ForeTube12=1
ForeTube13=1

The first number at the end of the letters has to reflect
the number 'A' in the "YearA=YYYY" line.
The second numbering is the position of the equipement
in the list.

hope it helps

Thanks guys, that's probably the problem. I Tweeked the sub out on patrol. I should know better by now NOT to tweek stuff on patrol but to do it in port.
