For examples:

I use the Generik Mod Enable ( GME ) for managing mod 1 = result perfect.
Mod2 = same
Mod3 = GME warning saying mod3 share file001 and file002 with mod 1.

HOW TO MERGE/COMPARE/MANUALLY ADD THE FILE001 and 002 with the file001 and 002 from previous installed mod1 ??

DOES GME Overwritte the files ??

I am inbetween dummy and advance user.

Thx.

Same here. I downloaded it and have a folder called mods, but have no clue how to use it properly.
After this career, I want to do a new install and add mods using this. Right now, I have no clue what mods I have installed.

Yes, JSGME will overwrite the files if you tell it to. But it will always warn you first.

As a rule, you must know if the 2nd mod is compatible with the first mod or not. For example, I have the Real UBoat mod installed. I then wanted to install the Improved Convoys Mod. JSGME will issue a file overwrite warning. Reading the mod's documentation or the mod's open thread here on SubSim's SH3 Mods forum will usually provide you with the answer.

SmokinTep, I don't understand what your problem is. When you run the JSGME program, it tells you what mods you have placed in the mod folder and not yet installed and it also tells you what mods you've already installed with JSGME.

Maybe your problem is how you are placing mods into the MODS folder. Here's an example of the correct folder structure you should be using to place mods in JSGME's MODS folder:

\SilentHunterIII\MODS\Mod ABC\data\..............................
\SilentHunterIII\MODS\Mod DEF\data\..............................
\SilentHunterIII\MODS\Mod GHI\data\..............................

The following is incorrect:

\SilentHunterIII\MODS\data\....................... .......
