RUB 1.42 but ...

Hallo,
am newby but this game is great! Have installed, through JSME Mod enabler (it reminds to me the Panzer Elite syste) the RUB 1.42 upon a clean installed 1.4b SHIII version but have these strage things.
1_ the harbour is empty. No ship, no planes, just me
2_ on the navigation map there was a gognomteric which helped me out to for the navigation/course, relative to the U-Boot, of the ships
3_ no normagraph to point out the speed
4_ no mark put by the sonarman which could helped hoe to find.

What's wrong?

I'm not sure about everything you're asking but some things sound like you would like to revert some specific things back to the way they were without the RUb mod.

So have a look at the Unreal Uboat Mod (http://www.subsim.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=39445).

As for no harbor traffic, your best bet is to download and install the latest version of the Harbour Traffic Mod. A RUb compatible version is available. Look here (http://www.subsim.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=361299#361299).

Looks like somthing has gone wrong with your installation!
The harbour mod should be in Rub 1.42 so I would try to uninstall the mod and make sure you have a "clean install" av SH 3 1.4b.

If you use JSGME installer, make sure that you in the folder "MODS" have the Rub 1.42 folder. If you open the Rub 1.42 folder, next folder should be "data". If this is ok, install the mod by JSGME.

The reason why I mension this is that many mods have dubble first folders, not RuB 1.42, but check anyway.

Try and see if it works.

Now its OK.

In fact had done a mistake during the unzipping under MODS sub director.
Now the traffic on the Harbour exists (for the nautical licence is a great excercise :lol: )
Two things remain out:

1_ have disalligneament between the "Course" cursor and the position of the U BOOT defined by the gognometer of 135° degrees and 500 mt. Thus the U BOOT is beyond of the Course cursor of 135° and 500 mt.
Is there a fix to use or .... made one other mistake??
2_ Still I don't have the mark of the hydrophone by the sonar man.
Is there a fix for that or is to be changed the set up?
