Shoot!! heeheehe...
...from the sound of these comments here and elsewhere about "excessive fatigue" being a real drag, ...we need somebody to create a mod so we NEVER need to swap crew just so they can sleep. Good grief that sounds crazy to have to do. I've only played this game a couple days and then paused to learn enough to start modding - using Avon Ladies recommended mod set. Which were GREAT by the way. Hmmm... I remember her from my days modding Operation Flashpoint. heeheehe.

To solve the fatigue issue best i think turning that game factor off entirely might take something away from the game that we will do much better by keeping to some sensible level. Here's the sane approach...
...Crew should fatigue ONLY under unique high stress periods. Then bounce back. What's nonsense is as everyone is saying... when Crew act as if they are slackards and not highly trained seamen. A man in this SubSim should go to sleep on his own without micromanagement. It's a bizarre feature of this game we need to make right. I ran a mod out there i forgot which one but it did REDUCE fatigue in the right direction. I think i know enough to tone it down by comparing text files of the virgin config file with the modded one. And going further towards reducing both the sources of fatigue and the men themselves.
HERES THE FATIGUE MOD i tried http://www.subsim.com/subsim_files/patches05/no_fatigue.zip located right here on Subsim. It looks like some copy-pasting of a couple key sections will do for starters to cure the worst. Since i've got already modded files custom editing is required. Can't just overwrite 'basic.cfg'.
