I've played two missions with spec ops now - the island (where they have to demolish a building), and the japanese harbour. for the island mission i didn't know how to deploy, so i made a new contact right in front of me and deployed them to it. Then they sailed off into the harbour and came under heavy fire from a patrolling frigate. The continued in a straight line (i think maybe my bearing) regardless of the frigate, or the target location. Fools. Second, I snuck into the japanese harbour and deployed them. this time i right clicked on the target harbour building and deployed them to that. After a long delay they set out and i turned back for the ocean. But, they are going in a straight goddamned line up the bay! They haven't aimed themselves at the target, but rather seem to be headed straight for the friggin frigate. WTF? I think they may have held my bearing again. Are these guys special forces or just a squishy torpedo? Totally annoying. Can't they stealth in along the shoreline? WTF?
Also - when frigates fire their main guns, do they make any noise for you guys? Mine are silent, and it's a bit silly.
