Hi, is the 9th flotilla still active? I am thinking about getting into the game, but want to make sure there is a community to play with.

Very much so. We generally play single-boat games, three times a week at Euro friendly times. Muttley, Snuk and Dook are captains and take it in turns, more or less. On Saturdays we join up with the Seawolf boys for a multi-boat game. Play is relaxed but effective, with an emphasis on bringing on new captains, training where needed, and helping newer players. It's not as frenetic as some lobbies, and there's not infrequent banter between us. The 9th discord is run by Warfray, however, he's otherwise engaged at the moment, so we don't seem him much just now. On the Tuesday evening game, we may experiment with different ways of doing things that anyone wishes to trial. Simply go to the 9th discord and register under "recruitment". Attendances is used to book your presence, or tentative presence, in a game.

I would be interested to join, if that's okay :)
I'm a pretty laid back guy I think. I am pretty new to Wolfpack. Been playing Uboat, Cold Waters and Destroyer lately and really want to get into Wolfpack. Been fooling around in there solo but it's hard haha! However, I believe I could become a valuable asset in any well organized team but I would need someone to sort of show me the ropes so to speak. Oh and I can enjoy role playing too and stuff :)

The 9th flot plays 3-4 games a week, optimised for European players, although there are a few brave souls who get up very early in the morning. We are experimenting currently with a US timed one. The Frost games are the main US timed ones. So which one you join depends a bit on where you're based.

Alright coolio, well I'm located in the EU so, I mean *Ahem, puts on role-playing hat* I was recently re-assigned to the Northern Fleet from the Pacifics for some below the ice time. Mainly due to a minor incident with my CO. It's all good now but he said I needed to "cool off". Funny man. So seems like EU times are going to be the thing for me. However every now and again, life willing, I would be down for burning some late night oil so to speak. :subsim:
