I have bought the game on steam recently and wanted to play with soviet subs. But when I downloaded the mod and activated with JSGME, the game refused to start. I reinstalled the mod and now it will. At the last moment, the loading will stop and i get some notification about missing data.
What is the problem?
Thanks

Which version of the SH4 game do you have, such as Steam or Ubisoft, download or disk, and where did you install it? For example, the path of "C:\Program Files (x86)\..." is the default. Which Soviet mod are you trying to use? Where did you download that mod from?

If you have JSGME in your game folder, you can run it, choose "Tasks..." from the middle of its window, then click on "Export activated mods list to..." and use "Clipboard" to immediately paste it into your next post, or "Text file" to copy and paste it later. Be sure to include the full output.

In addition to the game version, 1.5 with the U-Boat campaign, also make certain that your SH4 executable has the 4GB patch installed. Soviet Waterways (and virtually all other SH4 supermods) behaves as described when trying to run without the 4GB Large Address Aware patch applied.

Quite interesting information. Cold Waters is quite old but I think you can try it. Explore and experience to access more sources.
