For you Chazly followers, you may have noticed my sudden exit today.

:k_confused:

One of the neighbors (exactly two floors up) left the tap (or four) running and eventually I hear a LOT of dripping water in the walls. Naturally, its Friday evening.

:Kaleun_Cheers::woot:

So, I got the flooding contained and DC efforts continue.
The damage is contained and it could have been worse {tm}. One new crack in the kitchen ceiling and three rolls of paper towels later. :doh:
I had my share of close calls back in the day. This is NOT how I saw myself checking out.

When life hands you water, either go swimming, or freeze it and make an impromptu Ice Skating Rink. :yep:

Drop the Puck and let's have a Hockey game. :yep:

I've been worrying about that ever since I put my condo up for sale. The upstairs neighbor's toilet flapper stuck the other night, and I could hear water running down the drain for a few hours. I texted her, but I imagine she was asleep. Luckily she has to "go" frequently, and eventually she flushed again with the flapper finding it's seat. :D

On the plus side our sewer pipe should be free of floaters now. :up:

Good to know there isn't a lot of damage but also a reminder to myself that if any time in the future I consider moving into flats I'll make sure it isn't the one on the ground floor.

I live and work in old buildings, leaks from old pipes is a constant fear, damage repair and replacement pipes are ongoing projects
