Hello!
I'm looking for a way to include the TVII torpedo into my game, I am running on the GWX Onealex supermod. As far as I can tell, the game has all the files necessary to have these torpedoes used by the player, save for the actual textures. I only want to add them to my submarine via the basic.cfg and don't need any fancy way to include them beyond that. I've scoured the forums for an older post that has these files included, but any link to downloads have been taken down or are inoperable. If anyone can help me out here, I'd appreciate it.
Thank you in advance.

The thing is called Steinbarsch.
There was a "Torpedo_T_VII.exe".
An UPX-compressed Program to install over an Clicktel-installer made by "© 2006 by AOTD Hoschi".
I stronly recommend to run this in a Sandbox and not on your Productivity-Computer!
This was made for the original SH3, as you can see by the Year, and not for Onealex.
Data\textures\TNormal\tex\TVII_G7ut.tga
Data\Menu\de_menu.txt
Data\Menu\en_menu.txt
Data\Menu\Gui\Layout\TMSTor00.tga
Data\Menu\Gui\Layout\TMSTor001.tga
Data\cfg\Basic.cfg
Data\cfg\Flotilla.cfg
But you can see you have to change also the Flotilla.cfg and en|de_menu.txt, not only the Basic.cfg.

Interestingly, English and German Wikipedia seem to disagree with each other here.

T VII „Steinbarsch“: 45 kn schnell, 8 km weitreichend und LUT-Programm
T VIII „Steinbutt“: leistungsmäßig mit T VII vergleichbar

TVII G7ut Steinbutt
TVIII G7ut Steinbarsch
and no mention of the pattern-running equipment for either weapon

You may look into WAC52, CCoM12, GWX30 and WEM. All call them Steinbarsch in Basig.cfg.
And Reality is irrelevant. Its a game. It can be called whatever you want. :03:
And Reality is irrelevant. Its a game.well, reality is a little relevant - it's a simulator after all, but I don't mean to be pedantic. The weapon was never fielded, so it is indeed a bit moot. Clearly twenty years ago Ubisoft Romania's expert researchers were of the opinion that it was a straight-run torpedo.

The file noted by me can be found on s7rikeback's Mod Collection listed under AOTD_Hoschi in SH3 small Mods folder.

Simpli to find. There you can see what you need or what not. I have seen that Onealex has been already some parts integrated, but not all. For example one of the Torpedoes in one of the noted TGAs is missing.
My Warning for the file stand.
