Hi
Is there anyway of playing uboat without steam
, reason for asking , is that steam will stop working with win 7 according to a red banner at top of steam program , and I cannot afford a new PC at this time and not long since buying uboat , and just beginning to get used to it .

I canīt tell you how (because I donīt know the details, and I have W11), but you can play an Steam game without start de Steam app, without deleting the app.

But-my one cent comment- if you can run Uboat in your W7 PC, your PC can run W10, so why do not change your OS?

Hi,

If you bought the game via Steam, it is only playable via Steam. One possibility would be to buy the game via GOG.

Games bought on GOG don't require to use any launcher, it's possible to just download the game installer files and install the game directly
