There are several members that have undertaken trying to teach us earthlings the method:
METHOD OF CREATING A SILHOUETTE FROM A MODEL (https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?p=2675107#post2675107) from DanielCoffey is exemplary.

You will need the "root" folder of his web site though, since something trashed the links in his tutorial, so browse through https://www.dcoffey.co.uk/images/silenthunter4/silhouettes/ and find his template files in there for use in Photoshop and Blender. There are of course, other methods from other folks, but I was able to eventually follow DanielCoffey's example, and have managed to get some excellent results - especially for me. Up front though, you do need patience, and after that, more patience. It is tedious work, to say the least... :arrgh!:
